You Hear Odd Noises
Nobody knows what your furnace sounds like better than you do. If you notice unusual noises such as rattling, banging, or hissing, it may be cause for alarm. Older heating systems tend to make these strange noises closer to the end of their life. Something could be loose, or it could be indicative of a more serious problem that can no longer be remedied with a quick repair.
