Attic fans are large ventilation fans which help to regulate the heat level in the attic of a building by allowing air to be exhausted to the outside. Since their main function is to draw air through the attic and to the outdoors, they are generally used during the warmest months of the year. How Attic Fans Function
During hot months attic temperatures can exceed 120 °F, which means that the hot air in the attic could be causing the cool air within the rest of the building to be heated up at a higher rate than necessary.
