Why Install a Level 2 Home Charger?
Most electric vehicles come with a basic Level 1 charger that plugs into a standard household outlet, but it charges slowly, often adding only a few miles of range per hour. A Level 2 charger runs on a dedicated 240-volt circuit, the same type that powers an electric dryer or range, and it charges dramatically faster.
- Up to 8 times faster than a standard Level 1 charger
- Roughly 25 to 30 miles of range added per hour of charging
- A full overnight charge, so you wake up ready to go
- No more planning your day around public charging stations
For most households, a Level 2 charger is the difference between charging being something you think about and something you never have to.

What to Expect from Your Installation
Every EV charger installation is a little different, mostly depending on where your electrical panel sits in relation to where you park. Here is how it typically goes:
- Free assessment. We evaluate your panel, available capacity, and the best spot for the charger, then provide a free, no-pressure estimate.
- Installation. Most installs take around four hours. We run the dedicated 240-volt circuit, mount the charger, and connect everything safely. For the shortest, cleanest cable run, the charger should be within about 10 to 15 feet of where your vehicle parks.
- Inspection and sign-off. The completed installation is inspected by the local authority having jurisdiction and signed off, so you know it is done right and to code.
Pricing and Financing
Most home EV charger installations fall in the range of $1,500 to $2,000, depending on your panel location and any electrical work needed to support the new circuit. Estimates are always free.
We also offer financing on any project over $500, with options including 60 months same-as-cash and 120 months of ultra-low payments, so you can start charging at home without paying it all up front.
