ACI Northwest is proud to carry and install Daikin heating and cooling systems across the Inland Northwest. Daikin is the world’s largest HVAC manufacturer — a distinction earned through decades of innovation, rigorous engineering standards, and a relentless focus on efficiency and reliability. Whether you’re looking for a ductless mini-split for a room addition, a high-efficiency heat pump for year-round comfort, or a complete whole-home system, our team will help you find the right Daikin solution and install it properly.

Why Daikin?

Daikin’s reputation is built on advanced inverter technology, industry-leading efficiency, and systems engineered to perform in real-world conditions — including the cold winters and warm summers of North Idaho.

Inverter-Driven Efficiency
Daikin’s adaptive inverter compressor technology continuously adjusts output to match your home’s actual heating and cooling demand — rather than cycling on and off like conventional systems. The result is more consistent comfort, quieter operation, and lower energy bills.

World’s Largest HVAC Manufacturer
Daikin’s global scale gives them an R&D advantage few manufacturers can match. Their engineering innovations — including next-generation refrigerants, variable-speed technology, and smart controls — consistently set the standard for the industry.

Flexible Zoning Solutions
From single-zone ductless systems to multi-zone configurations serving up to five rooms from one outdoor unit, Daikin offers one of the most versatile ductless lineups available. Wall-mount, floor-mount, ceiling cassette, and concealed ducted options give you flexibility for nearly any application.

Smart Controls Built In
Daikin systems are compatible with the Daikin ONE+ smart thermostat and the Daikin mobile app, giving you remote access to your system settings, energy usage data, and real-time diagnostics from anywhere.

Daikin Product Lines We Carry

Daikin Fit™
A low-profile, side-discharge system that connects to traditional ductwork — ideal when a conventional cube-style outdoor unit won’t fit. A premium mid-efficiency inverter solution at an accessible price point. Great for homeowners who want inverter performance without going fully ductless.

Single-Zone Ductless Systems
Daikin’s single-zone mini-splits are a go-to solution for room additions, garages, bonus rooms, or any space where extending ductwork isn’t practical. Available in cooling-only and heat pump configurations with efficiency ratings up to 21 SEER.

Multi-Zone Ductless Systems
Connect up to five indoor units to a single outdoor unit for whole-home zoning without ductwork. Each zone operates independently, so you’re only conditioning the spaces you’re using — a significant advantage for energy management in larger homes.

What We Install & Service

Why Choose ACI Northwest for Your Daikin System

Daikin’s inverter technology delivers exceptional performance when the system is properly sized and installed — and falls short when it isn’t. ACI Northwest’s technicians are trained on Daikin equipment and understand how to design and commission systems that perform to spec in real Inland Northwest conditions.

We’ve been serving homes and businesses in the Coeur d’Alene area since 1992. That experience means we know the local climate, understand how to select the right equipment for each application, and can provide reliable ongoing support long after installation day. Ask about our maintenance plans to protect your Daikin investment season after season.
