Construction Superintendent

Primary Job Function:

The Superintendent is responsible for day to day supervision, site safety, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, daily safety meetings and employee training on civil construction projects

Daily Duties:

1. Daily control of all Job Site and employee safety via all ACI’s safety protocols with 100% commitment to safety
2. Daily scheduling and supervision of all activities and tasks to be completed on the job site
3. Continually provide all required project reporting and documentations including the maintaining of proper daily reports, submittals, RFI’s, change orders, and punch list items in conjunction with your project manager
4. Daily journal entries of work completed, equipment breakdowns, incidents, production and safety issues, etc.
5. Training and task observations of all supervised employees
6. Manage Critical Path Scheduling of the project tasks, subcontractors and delivery of materials
7. Communicate effectively with owners, inspectors, subcontractors, project managers, and other team members
8. Understand and work within job budgets and production schedules and communicate with your project manager whenever the project falls outside of it


1. High School Diploma (or GED or Equivalent)
2. Registered Apprentice in State of Idaho, or willing to
3. Valid Driver’s License
4. Reliable transportation
5. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects
6. Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and managing budgets for construction projects
7. Experience in reading blueprints
8. Job Site Safety Training: Minimum OSHA 30, Trenching and First Aid training
9. Must have above average understanding of grade checking and construction related math
10. Must be able to properly use Heavy Job Field App
11. Excellent leadership and communication skills
