Were you aware that the condition of your indoor air can actually be worse than that of the outdoors? You might believe that the air filter that came standard with your HVAC system resolves this issue, but that’s unfortunately not the case. That air filter is actually designed to protect the interior components of your HVAC unit and does little to protect the indoor air quality of your home.
This air filter should be changed every three months, at least, to continue to protect the integrity of your HVAC system. Additionally, while it doesn’t help your indoor air quality much, it can make it worse if it gets clogged up. But if you are looking for truly clean air, then you would do well to consider an electronic air cleaner.
